Booking requests and orders
When you request an appointment or order products, you enter your name, phone number and, depending on the case, a delivery address, the services you want and a message. This information stays in your browser until you click “send via WhatsApp”. WhatsApp then opens with a prepared message that you send yourself.
We use this information only to answer your request, handle the appointment or order and contact you about it. We do not pass it on for advertising.
WhatsApp’s privacy policy (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) also applies to the transmission. Data may be transferred to countries outside Switzerland, including the USA.
Cart in your browser
Your cart is stored only locally in your browser (local storage) so it’s still there on your next visit. It is not sent to us until you send the order. You can empty it at any time or delete it in your browser settings.
No tracking cookies
This website uses no cookies for analytics or advertising and no tracking services. Fonts, photos and videos are served from our own server.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you visit, technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type are stored briefly in server logs to keep the website secure and stable. Data may be transferred to the USA; Vercel relies on standard contractual clauses for this.
Photos of new Ewocar products that aren’t on our server yet may load directly from Ewocar’s Shopify server (Shopify Inc.), which receives your IP address.
External links
Links to Google Maps, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, WhatsApp and Loyaltify (Member Card) lead to other providers. Data is only sent to them once you click such a link, and their privacy policies apply.
Your rights
You can ask at any time which of your data we hold and request that it be corrected or deleted, unless we are legally required to keep it. Just email us or write to the address above, or contact us by phone or WhatsApp.
You also have the right to complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
